Dr. Fadel ELZUBI: It is not expected that the main drivers which led to the confirmation of famine conditions in Sudan will improve significantly in conflict-affected areas during the projection period of this report, as violence continues to escalate in famine zones across Kordofan and North Darfur, causing further displacement.
