On October 27, 2025, in Ramtha, we had a remarkable field presence with the Climate Action Organization and a wide range of partners and stakeholders engaged in building resilience against climate change, as part of broader efforts to strengthen climate resilience in refugee-hosting communities in Jordan.
During the workshop, we reviewed the project’s key activities and the opportunities it offers to enhance climate security. Together, we worked on identifying the hotspots most affected by climate change and setting clear priorities for addressing them in a practical and effective way.
I took part in this effort alongside representatives from the Directorate of Agriculture, the Research Center, the Municipality, civil society organizations, and environmental activists, all united by a common goal: to strengthen Ramtha’s resilience in the face of climate challenges.
This step is only the beginning of a long journey of joint action toward a more sustainable and environmentally secure future.
