Launch Ceremony of the Economic and Social Council Study on “The Reality of Female Agricultural Workers in the Jordan Valley”

I had the honor of moderating the panel discussion on the challenges and prospects facing women working in the agricultural sector in the Jordan Valley. The discussion featured Dr. Reem Abu Dalbouh, Senator and Member of the Board of Trustees of the National Center for Human Rights; Dr. Ghazi Samawi from the German Jordanian University; social security expert Mousa Al-Subaihi; and Dr. Zainab Al-Momani, President of the Specialized Union of Women Farmers and Producers in Jordan.
The event marked the official launch of the Economic and Social Council’s study entitled “The Reality of Female Workers in the Agricultural Sector in the Jordan Valley”, attended by representatives from several ministries, official institutions, and relevant civil society organizations.
The study’s findings and the recommendations derived from it were presented and discussed.
