Arabic Forum “Innovation in Times of Challenges”

I was delighted today to take part in the activities of the Forum “Innovation in Times of Challenges”, in the specialized session on food security issues organized by the Arab Network for Creativity and Innovation. The event brought together official, intellectual, and economic figures, alongside experts, innovators, and youth from across the Arab world, under the patronage of the Arab thinker Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Arab Network for Creativity and Innovation.

ELZUBI to QBC Television: How the war with Iran shifted from an energy crisis to a threat to global food security? The war disrupted more than 90% of oil tanker traffic, pushed energy prices above $112 per barrel, and directly raised the costs of farm operations, transport, and storage. It also halted the supply of nearly 3–4 million tons of fertilizers per month. Thus, what began as an energy crisis has transformed into a global food crisis.
