ELZUBI @Al Jazeera ,The Tragedy of Al-Obeid in Sudan

The influx of displaced persons has doubled the population of Al-Obeid to 1.2 million. More than 120,000 displaced people live in official camps, while others reside in temporary shelters or with host families whose resources have been exhausted.
Nearly 400,000 people are experiencing emergency levels of food insecurity (IPC Phase 4). The city suffers from acute shortages of fuel, water, and food. Frequent power outages disrupt water supplies, contributing to a cholera outbreak. Fuel scarcity also hampers the delivery of humanitarian aid
