Jordan’s floriculture sector faces challenges such as gender inequality, poor working conditions, and outdated farming techniques. While dominated by men, women are underrepresented in ownership and higher-paying roles. The sector relies on traditional methods and lacks technological innovation, limiting growth. The Decent Work in Jordan’s Floriculture Sector project, funded by the Australian Government and led by the ILO, aims to improve labor conditions, skills, and market access to foster sustainable growth and decent work opportunities.
